‘O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie! Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by…’

Bethlehem is not such a little town anymore, and certainly not sleepy or silent! It’s not a place lost in history or trapped in the timeless words of a Christmas carol. The place of Jesus’ birth is a living place with a diverse population.
