So, we’re back open and the kettle is on! \u00a0After a frantic few days of fixing, painting, moving and meddling (along with the requisite moments of “what have we done?!” when we wondered if it would all come together), Dock Cafe is back and better than ever!<\/p>\n

Thanks to the amazing volunteers who swapped coffee pots for paint pots for a few days and made it all happen:<\/p>\n

And here it is within an hour of opening – as busy as ever! \u00a0(There’s about 25 extra seats in the new layout so plenty of space for everyone!)<\/p>\n

\"cuf-etnwyaaxbbj\"<\/a>As always the cafe is a work in progress – there’s a bit of work still to be done on our new ‘shipyard cranes’ – and a shelf for your cuppa to be added to our new “corner of magnificence” (the high stools overlooking our stunning views of the marina, SS Nomadic and the hills beyond – already my new favourite seat!)<\/p>\n

So call in soon and soak up the atmosphere yourself!<\/p>\n

And now that’s done (deep breath), the next challenge – within a few weeks – is to find creative and funky ways to transplant this:
