The Dock Prayer Walk No.1 – report by Minion (Emma Rutherford)…

Inclement weather or not (we were not deterred!), on Sunday 2nd May, the first Dock monthly prayer walk took place!

And here are some photos to prove it –

We started off with fuel for our journey (i.e. coffee @ The Streat – to warm us up if nothing else…) and headed towards the back entrance of the Odyssey, where we paused for a time, thinking of all of those people who enter the complex each weekend, praying for for the partygoers, the students, the staff…

We walked along, stopping at various points to pray for the ongoing projects, the new college, the new business district, redevelopment of historical buildings… before finishing up outside the Drawing Office and praying for the work of the Dock and the growth of faith in the Titanic Quarter.

Huge thanks to all those who braved the rain – maybe it was an appropriate day to be praying for prayer-soaked streets!
