My last blog for a few weeks… just as the rest of you are back to porridge as a new term of work/school/uni begins, the Bennetts are off on their summer holidays – trying not to gloat too much…

This means a little summer holiday for the Dock Walks as well; there will be a walk on 5th September and then we’ll hit the Pause Button for a few weeks until we resume on 3rd October (as you’ll see from the lovely poster – putting one of those “oops I accidentally took a photo” moments to good use!)  But hopefully, even though I’m away, y’all won’t stop dreaming, hoping and praying for the shape of The Dock and the new community in the Titanic Quarter; as you can see from the last few blogs, things are at a very exciting stage, and we still need all the creative ideas and imagination we can muster!

And just to sign off, you might have heard on the news this week that a new filming expedition to the sunken Titanic has discovered that it is in much better shape than might have been expected (due of course to the quality Belfast workmanship).
