The Dock bookshelves have loads of great titles, many from local authors.  If you get engrossed in a good book while you’re in the cafe, feel free to borrow it – we trust you to return it!  (You have an honest face.)

The Dock knitting group meets every Tuesday from 4:30-6:30. When they get fed up knitting scarves, tea cosies and bobble hats they sometimes make something nice for the cafe (including the Dock colours of course).

The comfy seating areas now have nice soft carpets to make you feel at home – all made up from end-of-roll remnants, superbly bound by the nice chap at Ravenhill Remnant Shop.

It’s so much fancier than ‘juice’.

No bland corporate branding on the Dock’s coffee mugs – pick your own from our wide and varied selection.  (PS – donations of mugs always gratefully received!)
